REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
:

Our current client Hydroacoustics Inc. designs, manufactures a family of underwater Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs). We are looking for additional Regional Sales Managers. Candidates are employed by ROVATION representing HAI to potential clients.

HAI (Hydroacoustics Inc.) is a world leader in the engineering and manufacture of unique high power, broadband, low frequency underwater acoustic sources based on continuous wave and impulsive source technology. HAI is headquartered in Henrietta, New York. HAI has been in business for over 40 years. HAI has recently created a new product family that compliments there current business. The Proteus Series of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) represents the latest technology in underwater exploration, surveillance and protection. Combining the smallest diameter tether available with on-board power, the Proteus ROV's are more maneuverable and stable in currents, than any other underwater ROV in its class.

Responsibilities

Presenting products and services of HAI to final decision makers and end users. Presentations are held via phone with website presentation support options available.

  • Analyzing the customer needs and interests, determining which product and accessories are appropriate.
  • Expediting the resolution of customer problems or complaints.
  • Completing and submitting accurate new business paperwork and weekly activity reports by agreed upon dates set by Sales management.
  • Projecting a positive image in representing the company to clients and the community.
  • Achieving technical and sales knowledge
  • Achieving sales objectives by individual product line category within territory utilizing phone, internet trade shows, demonstrations and on-line presentations as primary selling tools.
  • Travel will be as required.

Position Requirements

BA/BS preferred in business or related field with 2-4 years relevant sales experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Business to Business experience of capital goods
  • Federal/State and Local sales experience
  • Diving experience a plus

Compensation

1099 Contract • Commission only • Commission scales from 8-10% based on sales ($25,000-$70,000 per unit revenue)

  • 1-2 Units per month pay @ 8%,
  • 3 or more units pay all monthly units @10%
  • Example; 2 transactions a month @ $40,000 each will yield annual revenue of $960,000, @ 8% commission rate would be $76,800 compensation, 2.5 transactions yield $96,000. 3 units a month @ 10% will pay $144,000.
